What Lossic is
Lossic is playback and organization software for music you already own, stored in your own Google Drive. Lossic Pro is companion software that converts your audio CDs into lossless files and uploads them to your Google Drive. We provide software; we do not provide, host, or license music content or storage.
Your content and your responsibilities
- Your music files remain yours and stay in your own storage. We claim no rights over them and take no custody of them.
- You are responsible for using Lossic only with content you lawfully own or are licensed to use, and for complying with the laws of your jurisdiction, including those governing private copies of audio CDs.
- This applies equally to the tags and cover artwork associated with your music — whether ripped from your own CDs or added when you create a custom album — and to any audio files or images you import yourself. By using these features you represent that you have a lawful right to that content for your own eligible, personal use.
- You are responsible for your Google account, its security, and its storage costs. Google Drive is a third-party service under Google's own terms.
Subscriptions
Some features may require a paid subscription purchased through the App Store. Subscription terms, pricing, and cancellation are handled by Apple under the App Store terms; subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your Apple account settings. Prices may vary by region.
Acceptable use
Do not use Lossic to infringe copyright, to redistribute content you do not own, or to circumvent technical protection measures. Lossic reads standard audio CDs and standard audio files; it does not remove DRM.
Warranty disclaimer
Lossic is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted or error-free, that files will always be identified or converted perfectly, or that third-party services (Google Drive, MusicBrainz, the iTunes catalog, AI providers) will remain available or accurate. Always keep your original CDs and backups of files you care about.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data stored in third-party services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Lossic in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this address, and material changes will be noted in the app's release notes. You can stop using Lossic at any time — deleting the app and revoking Drive access at myaccount.google.com/permissions severs everything, because there is no account with us to close.
